The High Kings July 20th 2018
We are delighted in conjunction with Glenroe GAA to welcome The High Kings back to Ballylanders on Friday July 20th. The concert takes place in the GAA Complex at 8pm with tickets priced at €30. Tickets are available from Ballylanders Post Office or call 087 2125607. Concert takes place upstairs and there will be a full Bar Service on the night.
St Patrick's Day Parade
The club entered a float into the Ballylanders St. Patricks Day Parade with the theme of building for the next generation. Tom Tae Fox stole the show dressed as Garth Brooks to highlight the fact that the club has premium level tickets to raffle for his up coming shows in Croke Park.
10 km Road Race
Finally the weather was on our side and we were able to hold our fun run on Sunday 16th of March. A large crowd turned up from both within the club & outside which was great to see. Around 70 people took on the 10km course & another 65 went for the 7km walk. The winner of the men's race was Frank Carroll in a time of 36:45 and the women's winner was Eileen McCullagh in a time if 43:23. Well done to the winners and everyone who took part. After the race everyone returned to the Daycare for a well earned cup of soup. Thanks to everyone who turned up on the day to support the club & we will see you again next year.
